Alisha Carol Stanfield, 16, of Flemingsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 23, 2019, at Fleming County Hospital.
Born in Lexington on July 9, 2003, she was the daughter of Chris Stanfield and the late Ursula Hunt Stanfield.
Alisha was a sophomore at Fleming County School.
In addition to her father Chris, Alisha is survived by her twin brother, Ashley Clyde Stanfield; her sister, Jacquelyn Paige Hawkins; her paternal grandmother, Daisy Stanfield; her uncles and aunts; Anthony (Carrie) Hunt and Kent (Nancy) Stanfield; along with several cousins, extended family members, and many friends.
In addition to her mother Ursula who passed away in April 2015, Alisha was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Murrill and Helen Hunt; and her paternal grandfather, Marvin Stanfield.
Service for Alisha will be 3 p.m., Saturday, December 28, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. James Hickerson officiating.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., Saturday, also at the funeral home.
In place of flowers, memorials are suggested to Special Needs Classroom (C/O Fleming County High School, 1658 Elizaville Road, Flemingsburg, Kentucky 41041) and/or Boone-Nickell Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
