Anna Lee Doyle

Anna Lee Davis Doyle, 87, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Fleming County Hospital.

Anna Lee was born September 1, 1931, in Hillsboro, to the late Charles F. and Maude Calvert Davis.

Anna Lee attended cosmetology school and worked for a few years as a hairdresser in her own business, Anna Lee’s Magic Mirror and then decided to stay home and raise her six children. Anna Lee was a woman of great faith and an inspiration to others. She was a member of the Flemingsburg Nazarene Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Preston Doyle; three sons, Darrell, Jerry and Doug Doyle; and three daughters, Betty Joyce Mitchell, Teresa Tester and Margaret Ann Steward; her parents; and 14 siblings.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Matt and wife Jessica Doyle, Cassie and husband Brad Lykins, Mandi and husband Jason Wheeler, Anna Walker, Julie and husband Chuck Ovington and Steven Mitchell; great grandchildren, Zaylee, Mallory, Addyson and Amelia; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Clint Stricklen, Bro. Jesse Hickerson, and Bro. Greg Grimes officiating.

Anna Lee will be laid to rest in Fleming County Cemetery beside her husband.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home
