Bernice Elaine Tester, 74, of Flemingsburg, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020, at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe. She was the widow of Alger Eugene Tester, Sr.
Born in Fleming County on July 16, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Claude Roseberry and the late Pearl Wilson Roseberry.
Bernice once worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Pioneer Trace Nursing Home. She attended the May’s Lick Lighthouse Church.
She is survived by her son, Alger Eugene “Gene” Tester, Jr., and wife, Elizabeth, of Lee County; her son, Tony Tester and wife, Krysta, of Fleming County; her daughter, Rhonda Hall and Raymond Baker of Fleming County; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Eugene and her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by 11siblings.
Memorial service will be 12 noon, Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Howard officiating.
Visitation will be 11 a.m., until time of service on Tuesday.
Bernice will be laid to rest in Wedonia Cemetery.
