Clarence O. McClung, 91, of Flemingsburg, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
Born in Leighton, Alabama on May 15, 1927, he was the son of the late Etta Mae Fountain Casey.
Clarence worked as a brakeman for Transtar Railroad in Lorain, Ohio for 30 years.
He is survived by wife, June Kegley McClung; his children, Larry McClung, Ruth Baker, Betty Hill; his stepchildren, Carolyn Gossard, Patricia Vargo, Martha Sines, Alan Kielman, and Tim Kielman; 22 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; his brother, Tommy Casey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bill Casey; an aunt who raised him in Alabama; his brothers, Robert McClung and Jeff Casey; and his sister, Billie Ann Wagner.
All services for Mr. McClung are private and being cared for by Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
