Frances Jolly Hunt, 91, of Flemingsburg, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Maysville Nursing and Rehab. She was the widow of Leo Thomas Hunt, Sr.
Born in Nicholas County on February 23, 1928, she was a daughter of the late William M. Jolly and the late Bessie Mitchell Jolly.
Frances retired from US Shoe Corporation in Flemingsburg after 24 years of service. She loved game shows, reading and yard sales but she loved most spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren growing up. She was a member of the Mount Carmel Christian Church.
She is survived by her sons, Tony Hunt and wife Debbie, and Larry Mike Hunt; her daughter-in-law, Claudia Hunt; her grandchildren, Donna (Bobby) Weaver, Jessica (Jeremy) Tully, Coty (Myranda Brooks) Hunt, Lesha Chance, Sky Lynn Chance; her great grandchildren, Michelle Hunt, Brandon Hunt, Peyton Tully, Huntly Tully, Brittany (Seth) Greenhill, Kaitlyn Weaver, Rebekah Weaver, Caden Patrick, Annabelle Patrick, Leeland Collins, and Jade Collins; and her great, great grandchildren, Liam, Liza, Rhett, Oliver and Henry.
In addition to her husband of 66 years and her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her sons, Leo Thomas Hunt Jr., and Terry Hunt; her grandson, Michael Dale Hunt; her siblings, Emma Jones, Cliff Jolly Clarence Jolly, and William Jolly; and her daughter-in-law, June McClanahan.
Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 12, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Singer officiating.
Frances will be laid to rest in Elizaville Cemetery.
Visitation will be 12 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
