Jefferson Grant Emmons Jr., 91, of Flemingsburg, passed away Monday, November, 11 2019, at Fleming County Hospital.
Born on July 19, 1928, in Fleming County, he was the son of the late Jefferson Grant and Della B. Turner Emmons Sr.
Mr. Emmons had worked as a mechanic and was self employed for many years. He served his country in US Air Force.
He is survived by six daughters, Karen (Jimmie) Davis of Elizabethtown, Joyce Emmons of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Judy (Billy) Frederick of Ewing, Cindy (Allan) Gayheart of Lexington, Martha Emmons of Houston, Texas, Barbara (Kent) Corbin of Flemingsburg; and one son, Darrell Emmons of Flemingsburg.
Also surviving are his 13 grandchildren, Kyle Davis, Jaimie Rector, Jason Frederick, Amanda Lasko, Brook Ulrich, Matthew Gayheart, Jeremy Gayheart, Erica Archibald, Katie Emmons, Mary Beth Corbin, Kendall Corbin, Christopher Corbin, and Cody Emmons; 18 great grandchildren and sister, Dorothy Barile.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Farley; and a grandson, John Andrew Farley.
All services will be private.
