Josie Faye Gulley, 91, of Wallingford, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019, at Baptist Health Corbin. She was the widow of Irvin Gulley.
Born in Fleming County on August 5, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Robert Antis McKee and Pearly Mabel Jordan McKee.
Josie was a homemaker and a member of the Petersville Church of God.
She is survived by her grandson, Scott Gulley and wife, Brandy, and their children, Cameron Scott Gulley and Candice Michelle Gulley; her grandson, Dustin Ray Gulley and wife, Michelle, and their children, Ember, Lilly, Levi, and Elijah; her grandson, Errick Lance Gulley; and her granddaughter, Kayla Faye Gulley and her children, Eva and Justice. She is also survived by her sisters, Ann Elam and Jessie Humphries; her brother-in-law, Kermit Gulley; as well as a special lifelong friend, Judy Litzler.
In addition to her parents and her husband Irvin (who passed in April 2005), Josie was preceded in death by her son, Dale Gulley; her daughter, Barbara Stojadinovich; her grandchildren, Terry Marsh Gulley and Christopher Dale Gulley; her brother, Paul McKee; her brother, Hever McKee; and her sister, Becky Papineau.
Service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, July 28, at Petersville Church of God (12688 KY 344,
Vanceburg KY 41179) with Bro. Jesse Hickerson and Bro. Milt Stanfield officiating.
Josie will be laid to rest in Muses Mill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, July 27, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
