Kimberly Ann Hurst

Kimberly Ann Hurst, 58, of Flemingsburg, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019, at UK Healthcare in Lexington.

Born in Maysville on December 3, 1961, Kim was the daughter of the late Meredith D. Burke and the late Clarine Del Leet Burke.

Kim currently worked as Deputy Circuit Clerk for Fleming County since 2012.  She was retired from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) in Flemingsburg.  She was a member of Mt. Tabor Methodist Church.

She is survived by her brother, Larry and Pam Burke of Flemingsburg; her brother, Jeff and June Burke of Berea; her nieces and nephews, Shelley (Seth) Sadler, Shayla (Nehemiah) Dunn, Corin Burke, Carter Burke, Lucas St. John, and Trevor St. John.  She is also survived by her great nephews, Gabriel and Brantley Sadler.  Kim will be missed by her canine friend, Izzi; and greatly missed by her work family and friends.

In addition to her parents Meredith and Clarine, Kim was preceded in death by her niece, Sherra Burke.

A Celebration of Life will begin at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 12, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Grimes officiating.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday night, at the funeral home.
