Thelma Fogleman Rossman, 86, of Troy, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at her daughter’s home with family by her side.
Born in Plummer’s Landing, Kentucky, on August 23, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Dollie Roberts Fogleman.
Thelma had worked as a supervisor of the main cafeteria at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. She had also worked as a waitress. Her love of people made it easy for her to enjoy big meals and cooking for her family and friends. She was Matriarch for Kentucky Family Reunions. Flowers and golfing were also among the things she enjoyed.
Thelma is survived by her daughter, Vicki Lee Woolum of New Carlisle, Ohio; her daughter, Jill Lynn Rudy of Troy, Ohio; her son, Jerry Ray Rossman of New Port Richey, Florida; her son, Terry Jay Rossman of Springfield, Ohio; her seven grandchildren; and her 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Olive Stamps of West Chester, Ohio; her sister, Linda Holsinger of Donnelsville, Ohio; her brother, Jesse Fogleman of Sturgis, Michigan; her brother, Don Fogleman of Vanceburg, Kentucky; and her brother, Barry Fogleman of Owingsville, Kentucky.
In February 2019, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Leo C. Rossman. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded by her sister, Betty Lou Fogleman; as well as three infant siblings.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Monday, October 21, at Boone –Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. John Greenlee officiating.
Thelma will be laid to rest beside her husband in Goddard Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home located at 150 West Water Street, Flemingsburg, Kentucky 41041.
