William Lee Wolfenbarger, 62, of Wallingford, passed away, Wednesday, June 20, 2018, in the home of his loving sister, Joanie Dyer.
Born in Morgan County on September 29, 1955, he was the son of the late Elmer and Martha Wolfenbarger.
William honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam.
William leaves behind one son, Joel Wolfenbarger of Muses Mills; two daughters, Chrissie Story and husband Duane of Grange City and Sunshine Wolfenbager of Jacksonville, Fl; two grandsons, Guage and Xzavier Wolfenbarger Grimm; four granddaughters, Alexis H. Story, Kayla Story, Dezirae Wolfenbarger, and Delilah Pope. William also leaves behind his loving sister, Joanie Dyer; his niece, Staci Dyer; his great niece, Baby Larron; his brothers, Danny, Gary, Roger, and Rick Wolfenbarger; his sister, Joann Allen; his niece, Anna Gulley as well as many other nieces and nephews he loved.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his brother, John Wolfenbarger.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 23, at Muses Mills Cemetery with Mary Thompson officiating. Military rites will be performed by the W.N. Fant American Legion Post #5 and Franklin Sousley VFW Post 1834.
