Austin James “A.J.” Farrow, 19, of Wallingford, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Fleming County Hospital.
Born in Mount Sterling on August 20, 2006, A.J. was the son of Justin and Sarah Kielman Farrow.
A.J. was currently working as a travel welder and had worked for Big Dawg Mowing and Flemingsburg Machinery. Having never met a stranger, he had many friends from all walks of life and he was loved by those who knew him. He was known as someone who would literally give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. When he wasn’t traveling for work he was coming up with small jobs that he and his friends could do to help support each other. He loved to be with his friends, loved going to SEC football stadiums with them, and riding 4-wheelers and side by sides.
In addition to his mom Sarah and his dad Justin, A.J. is survived by his sister, Taytum Farrow; his brother, Kye Farrow; his two “like brothers”, Brylee and Isaac Hampton; his girlfriend, Kinleigh Hamilton; his maternal grandmother, Linda Kielman; his paternal grandfather, James “Twiddle” Farrow; his aunts and uncles, Christal and Mark Henderson, Amber and Jonathan Dodson; along with a host of cousins, extended family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Greer Wilder Farrow; his grandmother, Vannedra Dodge Farrow; and his grandfather, James Kielman.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Fleming County High School Gymnasium, with Bro. Travis Roberts and Bro. Jonathan Dobson officiating.
A.J. will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park.
Friends and family will serve as his pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Friday, February 27, at the high school located at 1658 Elizaville Avenue, Flemingsburg, Kentucky 41041.
Boone-Nickell Funeral Home is caring for A.J. and his family.
In place of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of A. J. to the student scholarship fund at Peoples Bank.
