Obituary
Aledia R. Stephens Ginter, 86, of the Sherburne community, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home.
Born on December 21, 1930, in Bath County, she was the daughter of the late Dennie and Ethel Ishmael Stephens.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Lawrence) Jones; grandchildren, Travis (Rosemary Thomas) Jones and Melissa Williams; brothers, Glen (Linda) Stephens and Denny (Carrie) Stephens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Gary Williams; and her sister, Norma Jean Schultz.
Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m., Thursday, February 9, 2017, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Stacy officiating. Burial will follow in Longview Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Kevin Stephens, Wesley Stephens, John Crowe, J.R. Gray, Norman Duncan and Phil Boone Mitchell.
Visitation will be 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
