Alleda Story Roberts, 87, of Maysville, KY, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Kenton Pointe Care Center in Maysville.

Born October 13, 1927, in Hillsboro, Alleda was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Eva Williams Story.

Alleda worked as a sales clerk at Montgomery Ward, Merz Brothers, Kline's and Judy's Shoe Store. She was a member of Locust and Seddon United Methodist Church and attended Tilton Methodist Church.

Alleda is survived by a son, John Roberts of Westchester, OH; a daughter, Debbie Roberts of Maysville; a grandson, Josh Roberts of Chicago, IL; sisters, Anna Belle (Ronnie) McRoberts and Luwanna Perkins of Flemingsburg; a brother, Oakie Storey of Marion, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

Alleda was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 61 years, Tom Roberts.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Pastor Gail Skaggs officiating. Burial to follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
