Alma Lorene Dyer Muse, 77, of Muses Mills, KY passed away Monday February 13, 2017 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe with her family by her side.

Alma was born on October 10, 1939 in Higginsport, OH to the late Ervin Estill and Gladys Mae Stacy Dyer.

Alma had worked in farming in her younger years. She had worked at several area restaurants, and had been the caretaker at Fox Valley Lake several years ago. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and of the Christian Holiness faith.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Glenda May Cord of Muses Mills, KY and Marilyn Kay (Johnny) Niece of Wallingford, KY; son, William Logan of Muses Mills, KY; 4 grandchildren, Randy (Kayla) Cord, Vanessa Zeigelmier, John D. Niece and Shonda Niece; 4 great grandchildren, Braxton Cord, Aubree Cord, Ryan Cord, and Evan Zeigelmier; siblings, William L. (Betty) Dyer and Judy Lee Rudd; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Dennis Muse; 2 brothers, Lloyd Estill Dyer and Ralph Dyer; and a sister, Opal Elizabeth Ballengee.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2017, at Boone – Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Point Pleasant Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 – 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
