Alta Ruth Porter, 77, formerly of Flemingsburg passed away Monday morning April 4, 2011 at Ridgeway Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was the former Alta Ruth Hayes born January 25, 1934 in Mason County to the late Charles and Martha Hayes. She was a retired nurses aid at Fleming County Hospital. She was preceded in death by her first husband Claude P. Hunt and second husband Wilburn Porter, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

2 Sons: Jack and Lana Hunt of Maysville, KY,
Scott and Wanda Hunt of Baileyton, AL,

1 Daughter: Carla Bullard of Blountsville, AL

2 Sisters: Helen Richardson of Flemingsburg, KY, and
Ann Peters of Tennessee

5 Grandchildren: Kendall Hunt, Jared Hunt, Debora McGlone, Brian Bullard, and Kayla Rojas

5 Great Grandchildren

Funeral services will be at 1PM Wednesday April 6, 2011 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Rev Ernest Ray Throckmorton officiating. Visitation will be 6 - 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Fleming County Cemetery.
