Barbara "Barb" Lutz, 71, of Harrodsburg, passed away Friday November 11, 2016 at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg, KY.

Barb was born June 27, 1945 in Fairfield, KY to the late Lee Vernon & Virginia Lee Marksberry Lutz.

Barb was a retired office manager/ administration for Dr. Daniel Hill where she had worked for many years; she also had worked at Keeneland for several years. Barb proudly served her country in the US Airforce as an Administrative Secretary with a rank of 3rd Airman. She loved to spend time with her family, cooking and playing rook, was an avid UK fan and antique collector. Barb attended Hickory Grove Christian Holiness Church in Tollesboro.

Survivors include her siblings, Patricia (Billy) Nutgrass of Bedford, KY, Larry Lutz of Mt. Washington, KY, Judy (Bob) Helton of Clarkston, KY and Martin (Paula) Lutz of Wallingford, KY; an aunt to Jamie (Monica) Lutz, Christy (Bryan) Manning; great aunt to Carter, Regan, Kenley and Landen; and an aunt to several other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Marilyn Huff of Springfield, MO; special friends Linda Townsend, Margaret Coueert and Sheldon Bratcher.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Charles Lutz and Brenda Joyce Lutz.

Funeral services for Barb Lutz will be at 2 PM Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Boone – Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Emmons. Burial will follow in Wallingford Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 – 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Care Club (PO Box 189 Flemingsburg, KY 41041).
