Barbara Sue Sloas, 74, of Flemingsburg, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.

Born in Harlan County on January 29, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Milford Anderson and the late Bertha Bolin Anderson.

Barbara worked for U. S. Shoe in Flemingsburg, in security for a trucking company in Lexington, and as a test proctor for the United States Army.

She is survived by her husband, Irlin Sloas; her four siblings, Julie Filipino, Joy Thomasson, Wilma Harris, and Bobby Anderson; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to her parents Milford and Bertha, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Arrangements are private and being cared for by Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
