Bertha Francis “Cricket” Kissick, 95 of Flemingsburg, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Maysville Nursing and Rehab. She was the widow of H.E. Kissick.
Born in Fleming County on September 25, 1930, her father was the late Arthur Talley and her mother was the late Ida Talley.
She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Charles of Borromeo Catholic Church.
She is survived by her three sons, Allen Darryl Doyle, Gary Colin Doyle, Christopher Kissick; her grandson Brandon Kissick; niece Mary Doyle; along with many extended family members and friends.
In addition to her husband HE, her father Arthur, mother Ida, Cricket was preceded in death by her four brothers, Arthur Robert Talley, James William Talley, Joe Faulkner, Mary Harney
Service of Christian Burial will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday May 26, 2026, at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Fr. Phil DeVous as celebrant.
Cricket will be laid to rest in Elizaville Cemetery.
Visitation will be 12 noon until the hour of service at 1 p.m. at Boone- Nickell located at 150 West Water Street in Flemingsburg.
In place of flowers please consider a donation in memory of Cricket to the charity of one’s choice.
