Bessie Kathleen Kilbreth,  86,  of Flemingsburg, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home.  She was the widow of James Kilbreth.

Born in Lewis County on May 2, 1938, her father was the late Burl Toller and her mother was the late Agnes Pollitt Toller.

Bessie worked at the U.S. Shoe Factory and farmed with her husband James.

Bessie is survived by three of her siblings, Brenda Toller Hollar, Floyd Toller, and Charlie Toller; several nieces and nephews; her niece and  longtime caregiver, Sherry Stacy; and special friends, Jake and Susie Peachey.

In addition to her husband James who passed in March 2008, her mother Agnes, and her father Burl, Bessie was preceded in death by 11 of her siblings, Dale Mackey, Earl Toller, Burl Toller, Jr., Lena Toller, Robin Toller, Juanita Hilton, Walter Douglas Toller, Jewell Lawson,   Lloyd Toller, Lowell "Buck" Toller, and Mary Lou Foster; longtime caregiver and special friend, Janie Roark.

A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m., Monday, May 13, 2024, at Esham Cemetery with Bro. Tom Redmon officiating.
