Betty Jean Davis Manning, 81, of Flemingsburg, KY, passed away Sunday , January 15, 2012 at Fleming County Hospital. She was born in Hillsboro, KY on February 13, 1930 to the late Charles & Maude Calvert Davis. Mrs. Manning had worked at US Shoe, Randall's, Atchison Florist, Gilbert Kinder TV, and most recently Today's Brides. She was a member of Poplar Plains Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frazee Manning and 13 brothers & sisters.

Survivors include

3 Sons: Scott (Linda) Manning, Terry (Pat) Manning, & Barry Manning

6 Grandchildren: Tim (Alison) Manning, Todd Manning, Bryan (Christy) Manning, Christi (Jerry) Kesterson, Blake (Kristen) Manning, & Brooks Manning

7 Great Grandchildren: Owen, Daniel, Katy, Carter, Kenley, Hannah, & Hayden

Also surviving are a sister, Anna Lee Doyle, and a special niece. Barbara Davis Bohlk along with a host of other nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Wednesday January 18, 2012 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Bro George Sloan & Pastor Doug Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in Hillsboro Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Tim Manning, Todd Manning, Bryan Manning, Blake Manning, Brooks Manning, Christi Kesterson, Paul Tranbarger, and Vicki Stephens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Care Club or Poplar Plains Christian Church.
