William Joseph Bryan "Billy" Porter, 55, of Flemingsburg, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2024, at his home.

Born in West Hamblin, W. Va. on December 19, 1968, his father is Juble Porter, Sr. and his mother was the late Sharon Lilly Brown.

Billy retired from B.J. Services Gas and Oil Well Company and retired as a senior EO.  He was an avid classic car enthusiast and an amateur hot rod builder.  He enjoyed working in his garage and attending car shows.  Billy made an impression on everyone he met and will be truly missed.

Billy is survived by his wife, Ada Jeanette Ishmael Porter; his son, Joshua Hawk Porter (fiancé Tina Hamm); his grandchild, Diana Morales; his seven brothers, Henry Lee Porter and wife Shawna of W. Va., Juble Porter, Jr. of Ohio, Timmy Porter of W. Va.,  Jobe Porter and wife Patricia of Ohio, Shain Brown and wife Kari of Ohio, Bobby Brown and wife Tabatha of Ohio, and Avery Porter of W. Va.; his sister, Aletha Dearmon of Ohio; his stepfather, Harold "Gabby" Brown of Ohio; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to his mother Sharon, Billy was preceded in death by his nephew, Noah Jobe Porter; his niece, Samantha Porter; his niece, Emily Ishmael; his brother-in-law, Samuel Ishmael; his grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Redmon officiating.

Honorary pallbearers include Larry Stacy, Ricky Stacy, Aaron Edmond, Jobe Porter. Brent Gee, Darrell Clark, and Eddie Workman.

Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the hour of service at 1 p.m., Wednesday, at Boone-Nickell, located at 150 West Water Street, Flemingsburg, KY 41041.
