Bobby K. Porter, 87, of Flemingsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday July 25, 2017 at his business.

Bobby was born on January 10, 1930 in Fleming County to the late Sterling and Alma Kissick Porter.

Bobby opened Bobby's Auto Sales in 1955 in Flemingsburg and had been a fixture of the community since then.

Survivors include his special friend Judy Planck daughters Jolene and husband Sandy Dawkins and Lynna (April Bock) Porter both of Lexington, KY; siblings Harold and wife Willa Porter and Louise and husband Donnie Christman of all of Flemingsburg; grandchildren Kristin and husband Richie Thompson, Tyler and wife Kelly Street and Kelly and husband Patrick Hawthorne; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Eugenia Witt.

Funeral services will be at 1p.m. Friday July 28, 2017 at Boone – Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Jesse Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow in Fleming County Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to charity of one's choice.
