Beatrice "Bonnie" Steele, 61, of Mount Vernon, Ky. passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital and Respiratory Care Center in Mt. Vernon.

Born in Covington on October 25, 1963, her father was the late Lester Steele and her mother was the late Ruby Brockman Steele.

Bonnie is survived by her five children, Keith Steele, Guy Elliott, Aaron Elliott, Ashley Meade, and April Elliott; her five grandchildren, Spencer, Colton, Parker, Stella, and Khalessi.  She is also survived by two of her siblings, Butch (Rosie) Steele and Carmella (James) Ohmer; along with many extended family members.

In addition to her mother Ruby and her father Lester, Bonnie was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Roll and James Lady.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the hour of service at 1 p.m., Wednesday, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street, Flemingsburg, Ky. 41041.
