Brenda Lou Muse Thompson, 66, of Leitchfield, KY, formerly of Fleming County, passed away Sunday morning May 12, 2013 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center, after an extended illness.

Brenda was born November 16, 1946 in Fleming County to the late Theodore and Elma Gulley Muse. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and homemaker. Brenda was of the Christian faith and was baptized at Grayson Manor where she had lived the last few years, she enjoyed every service held and was always in attendance.

Survivors include her children Jacqueline (Mark) Fryman of Ewing, KY; Jerry Thompson of Morehead, KY; Jeffrey (Becky) Thompson of Leitchfield, KY; 6 Grandchildren; brother Kelly (Darlene) Muse of Hillsboro, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Danny Muse

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Wednesday May 15, 2013 at Boone -Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Newman Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 - 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Care Club (PO Box 189, Flemingsburg, KY 41041).
