William Lewis "Buddy" Reese, 83, of Flemingsburg, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Born in Maysville on August 7, 1940, his father was the late William Howard Reese and his mother was the late Ollie Christine Frodge Hamm.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carolyn Sue Shrout Reese; his six children,  Elizabeth Jane Fields, Debbie (Doug) Johnson, Wayne (Ann) Reese, Mary (Chuckie) Hunt, David Reese, and Jeff Reese; his seven grandchildren; his 10 great grandchildren; along with many extended family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, Buddy was preceded in death by his five siblings, Jean Hilterbrand, Ronald Reese, Everett Lee Reese, Brenda Sue Hamm, and Clora May Hamm.

Honoring his wishes, Buddy will be cremated.
