Carol Jeanne Harmon, 66, of Flemingsburg, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at her residence with family by her side.

Born in Montgomery County, Ohio on May 18, 1951, she was a daughter of the late John F. and Geneva Jolly Rammel.

Carol worked as a secretary for the Highway District 9 Department of Transportation and Child Support Office for 21 years. She loved to sew, knit, crochet, craft and bake.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Everett C. Harmon, Jr.; her children, Jackie (David) Fitzpatrick of Winchester, Robin (Jimmy) Conley of Flemingsburg, James (Stacey) Harmon of Maysville, and Danielle Harmon of Flemingsburg; her grandchildren, Ashley, Courtney, Zachary, Xander and Maddie Harmon, Dylan, Abby and Carly Conley, Bradley Cropper, Landyn and Taylor Florence; and her great grandchildren, Summer, Jared and Easton. She is also survived by her siblings, Paul Rammel of Saukville, Wisconsin, Karen Marker, John (Beth) Rammel and Peter Rammel, all of Kettering, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Eric Wayne Ramey.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 17th, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Manning officiating. Carol will be laid to rest in Fleming County Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Dylan Conley, James Harmon, Bradley Cropper, Bradley Vice, Greg Vice and Ted Allen Ramey. Honorary pallbearers will be close family members.

Visitation will be 5 – 8 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
