Carolyn Hayden, 82, of Flemingsburg, passed away Friday, August 7, 2026, at Fleming County Hospital. She was the widow of Robert Hayden.

Born in Fleming County on June 22, 1944, her father was the late Husten Pierce “H.P.” Graham and her mother was the late Emma Belle Jackson Graham.

Carolyn was a very fashionable woman who loved to shop. She was a loving mother and wife who always put family before herself. She had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Saint Claire for 20 plus years. She was member of the Strawberry United Methodist Church.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Angela Taul; her son, Justin Taul and wife Sofenia “Pumkin”; her daughter-in-law, Monique Hayden; her six grandchildren, Corey Rogers, Sylan Mayes, Syrus Mayes, Qua Lewis, Tyrell (Laura) Hayden, and Dominique (Sydney) Hayden; and her four great grandchildren, Natalia Rogers, Ava Hayden, Asher Hayden, and Dottie Hayden. She is also survived by seven of her siblings, William Nelson Graham, Larry Graham, Thomas L. (Terea) Graham, Husten (Nancy) Graham, Hazel Graham, Kathey (Ernesto) Lopez, and Janet Stallard; along with many extended family members and friends.

In addition to Robert, her husband of 42 years who passed in 2024; her mother Emma, and her father H.P.; Carolyn was preceded in death by two stepsons, Lance Hayden and Lamar Hayden; three of her sisters, Julia Lofton, Bettye Ann Lofton, and Susan Graham.

A memorial visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home located at 150 West Water Street in Flemingsburg.
