Carolyn McKee Perkins, 81, of Flemingsburg, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Fleming County on October 27, 1943, her father was the late Vernie "Dugie" McKee and her mother was the late Katherine Vice McKee.

Carolyn worked for the US Shoe Factory and retired after 20 years as a cook at Fleming County High School.  She was member of Tilton Methodist Church.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 61 years, Victor Perkins; her two daughters, Vickie (Terry) Griggs and Kristie (Fred) Adamson; her five grandchildren, Amber (Matt) Truesdell, Kylie Griggs, Shelby Griggs, Parker Sills, and Noah Griggs;  her two great grandchildren, Max Truesdell and Lennex Truesdell.   She is also survived by two of her siblings, Linda Dotson, and Rose Ann Crump; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to her mother Katherine and her father Dugie, Carolyn was preceded in death by three of her siblings, Bobby Joe McKee, Vernie McKee, and Roberta Harris.

The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Tilton Methodist Church with Sister Gail Skaggs officiating.

Carolyn will be laid to rest in Fleming County Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Fred Adamson, Terry Griggs, Matt Truesdell, Amber Truesdell, Kylie Griggs,
Shelby Griggs, Parker Sills, and Noah Griggs.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Tilton Methodist Church located at 702 Tilton Road, Flemingsburg, Ky. 41041.
