Cassandra Mae "Sandy" Lewis, 32, of Wallingford, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018, at UK Medical Center in Lexington.

Born April 25, 1985, in Portsmouth, Ohio, she was a daughter of Timothy "Tim" and Linda Ann Hayes Morgan.

Sandy worked as a dispatcher and administrative assistant for Specialty Transport. She had worked for Family Dollar in Flemingsburg and as a Thirty-One consultant. She also worked in photography. A member of Foxport Baptist Church, she was a Sunday school teacher and a Bible school superintendent. Sandy loved spending time with her family especially being outdoors and swimming. She also enjoyed spending time with animals, travel and playing Bingo.

Sandy is survived by her husband of 13 years, Shannon Lewis; her son, Ashton Ray Lewis; her parents, Tim and Linda Morgan of Wallingford; her siblings, Bobby (Shellie) Sales of Flemingsburg, Duston (Shawna) Sales of Vanceburg, Eddie (Crystal) Sales of Cincinnati, OH, and Scotty (Ashley) Sales of Huntington, WV. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Zachary and August Warder, Alana Sales, Mackenzie Smith, Austin and Corbin Sales, Josh Basenback, Ava and Aiden Massie, and C.J. and Olivia Sales; her maternal grandmother, Betty Hayes of Cynthiana; several aunts and uncles as well as many friends and extended family members.

Sandy was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charlie and Artha Mae Morgan; and her maternal grandfather, William Hershel Hayes.

Funeral services for Sandy will be at 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 21st, at Foxport Baptist Church with Rev. Harry Meadows and Bro. Joe Watson officiating. Sandy will be laid to rest in Esham Cemetery.

Visitation will be noon to 3 p.m., Wednesday, at the church located at 2094 Foxport Road, Wallingford, Kentucky 41093.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Foxport Baptist Church (C/O Nancy Hall, 2048 Foxport Road, Wallingford, Kentucky 41093).
