Christian Scott Cassidy, 27, of Clearfield, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at his residence.

Born in Lexington, Kentucky on July 5, 1999, he was the son of Rhonda Wooten Cassidy, Mindy Hamm, and the late Matthew Scott “Matt” Cassidy.

Christian had worked in water treatment for Smith Contractors in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. He was a talker and a storyteller, never meeting a stranger. He loved fishing and hunting and enjoyed cornhole and pool. Christian was a loving father to his two children.

In addition to his mother Rhonda and his mother Mindy; Christian is survived by his fiancé, Cassandra Craft; his two children, Octavia Noel “Monkey” Cassidy and Owen Michael Scott Cassidy; his fathers, Michael Craft and Tim Hamm; his 12 siblings, Kaitlyn (Aaron) Allen, his fraternal twin Austin (Cheyanne) Cassidy, Eric (Amber) Perry, Ashlee (Billy) Hunt, Jordan (Johnathan) Cassidy, Haley Cassidy, Nevaeh Hamm, T. J. Hamm, Landon Hamm, Ariana Hamm, Brooke Hamm, and Alyssa Hamm. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Malcom & Darlene Cassidy; Cassandra’s mother, Stephanie Craft; Cassandra’s brother, Geoffrey Craft; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In addition to his father Matt, Christian was preceded in death by his aunt, Lisa Cassidy Lofton; his cousin, Michael St. Clair; his maternal grandparents, Sam & Merle Wooten; and his best friend, Cobey Stuter.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2026, at New Creation Praise and Worship Center with Rev. Mike Ishmael officiating.

Honorary pallbearers include Austin Cassidy, Eric Perry, Michael Craft, Geoffrey Craft, Codie Hayes, Hayden Hunt, Malcolm Cassidy, Darlene Cassidy, Octavia Cassidy, and Owen Cassidy.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at 1 p.m., Friday, at the church located at 1431 Helena Road, Flemingsburg, Kentucky.
