IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Christine
Jennings
June 5, 1937 – March 16, 2025
Christine Sue Jennings, age 87, of Flemingsburg, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, March 16, 2025. She was the widow of Edward Jennings.
Born in Wallingford, Ky. on June 5, 1937, Christine was the daughter of the late Raymond Fearin and the late Mildred Hamm Fearin.
Christine lived a long and fulfilling life surrounded by loved ones. She found joy in crossword puzzles and occasionally enjoyed a night of line dancing. Her nurturing spirit touched many lives in Flemingsburg, where she provided childcare services for several years. Later in life, Christine became a familiar and friendly face at Ken's, greeting local shoppers from behind the deli counter for many years. Christine's warmth, kindness, and dedication to her community will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
Christine is survived by her two children, Lisa Pfeffer and Don Jennings: her four grandchildren, Kristain Fryman, Paige (Jared) Just, Katie Marie Pfeffer, and Abby Pfeffer; and her two great grandchildren, Aaron Just and Caleb Just. She is also survived by two of her siblings, Raymond "June" (Eula) Fearin, Jr. and Patricia Fearin; her three sisters-in-law, Jo Jennings, Shirley Jennings, and Francis (Chester) Catron; along with many extended family members and friends.
In addition to her husband Edward, her mother Mildred, and her father Raymond, Christine was preceded in death by three of her siblings and their spouses, Corine McKee and her husband George, Charles Fearin and his wife Kittye, and Dixie Smoot and her husband Rod; and two of her brothers-in-law, Tilman Jennings and Wilburn Jennings.
Private services for Christine and her family will be cared for by Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
Christine will be laid to rest in Fleming County Cemetery.
