Cynthia Omohundro "Cindy" Royse, 67, of Ewing, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025, at her residence.
Born in Lexington on February 14, 1958, Cindy was the daughter of the late James Lee Omohundro and the late Mary Mildred Dunaway Omohundro.
Cindy was a registered nurse, having worked at Saint Joseph Hospital, Frazier Rehabilitation, Shriners Hospital in Lexington and Hayswood Home Health for 32 years. She enjoyed reading books, quilting with Tracy, and spending time with her family and friends. She loved to travel and go camping. At Christmas, she loved to bake and make candy. She was a member of the Flemingsburg Christian Church and in her younger days she attended Chevy Chase Baptist.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 36 years, Tracy A. Royse; her son, Christopher Eugene Voll and wife Sierrah; her daughter, Katherine "Katy" Nicole Royse; her four grandchildren, Abby, Mila, Liam, and Everly; along with many extended family members and friends.
In addition to her mother Mary and her father James, Cindy was preceded in death by her brother, James Michael Omohundro; and her mother and father-in-law, Marjorie and Estill Royse.
Visitation will be 12 noon until 2 p.m., Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
A service of entombment will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, December 15, 2025, at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens located at 4915 Harrodsburg Road, Nicholasville, Kentucky 40356. Rev. Chris Voll will be officiating.
