Clois Alexander Barbee, 91, of Ewing passed away Tuesday evening January 27, 2015 at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home.

Clois was born January 18, 1924 in Milltown, KY to the late David Wilson and Grace Beard Alexander.

Clois was a 1944 graduate of Fleming County High School, a woman of Christian faith she was a member of Hilltop Christian Church but had recently attended Ewing Baptist Church. She was retired from the US Shoe Corporation after 22 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband Erman Barbee; brothers Austin and Kenneth Alexander; special friend Marcy Grannis; and her parents.

Clois is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM Friday January 30, 2015 at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Abrams officiating. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery in Bethel, KY. Visitation will be 11AM - 1PM Friday at the funeral home.
