Crystal Norene Sapp, 87, of Flemingsburg, passed away Friday, December 20, 2019, at her residence.  She was the widow of Herbert L. Sapp.

Born in Goddard on January 2, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Carl Plummer and the late Pearl Caskey Plummer.

Crystal worked at Randall's for 30 years, retiring in 1993.  She loved her family and friends and enjoyed visiting with them.  She was always cleaning and keeping up with her gardening.  She loved God and going to church – attending the Flemingsburg Church of the Nazarene and the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, William Sapp and wife Evelyn; her daughter, Diana Kay Clark; her grandchildren, Billy Sapp, Glennis (Linda) Harris, Angela (Matt) Grimes, Christy (Beth) Sapp, Amanda Sapp, Sara Wallingford, and Brad D. (Kelli) Clark; her great grandchildren, Dalton Tune, Skylar Logan, Brenton Wallingford, Devin Wallingford, Katlyn Wallingford, Leahana Puckett, J.W. Puckett,  Damien, Ayden,  and Xander Clark,  and Tyler (Alicia) Grimes; and her great, great grandchild,  Owen Grimes.  She is also survived by her siblings, Dorothy Briggs, Ann Herring, and John Ezell; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband Herbert, Crystal was preceded in death by her siblings, Jerry Ezell, Lloyd Plummer, and Frieda Wallace.

Service will be at 1 p.m., Monday, December 23, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Clint Stricklen and Bro. Greg Grimes officiating.

Crystal will be laid to rest in Elizaville Cemetery.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
