Leslie Dale Crump, 78, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, December 30, 2024, at the Robertson County Health Care in Mount Olivet.

Born in Maysville on March 26, 1946, his father was the late Smith Crump and his mother was the late Eulala Denton Crump.

Dale was a lifelong dairy farmer.  He had done more work and spent less than anybody his family knows.

He is survived by five of his siblings, Charlie (Janice) Crump, Edie (Danny) Lewis, Emma Ruth Branam, Wanda Fischer, and Terry "Topper" (Priscilla) Crump; and his brother-in-law, Deweese Copher.

In addition to his mother Eulala and his father Smith, Dale was preceded in death by two of his siblings, Elbert "Ebby" Crump and Sharon Copher; and his in-laws, Jim Fischer, Donnie Branam, and Audrey Crump.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Monday, January 6, 2025, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.

Dale will be laid to rest in rest in Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Pallbearers include his nephews, Mark Ramey, Seth Ramey, Ricky Crump, Chad Copher, Ebony Copher, and Nathan Lewis.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m., until the hour of service at 1 p.m., Monday, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street, Flemingsburg, Ky. 41041
