Earnest Dale Dennison, Sr., 82, of Vanceburg, passed away Friday, May 23, 2025, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg.

Born in Charleston, West Virginia on May 21, 1943, Dale was the son of the late Pauline Jenkins.

Dale is survived by his son, Brent (Tanna) Dennison; his daughter, Misty (Connor) Dennison; his special grandson, Josh (Chelsea) Dennison; his two granddaughters, Holley (Justin) Holley and Kaaleigh (Jacob) McLaughlin; and his four great grandchildren, Blaine, Nolan Sabre, and Charlotte.  He is also survived by his two sisters, Faye Dennison (Bill) Garlitz and Sandy Dennison Abbott; his nephew, David Perry; and his niece, Stacy Abbott Porter.

In addition to his mother Pauline, Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Kay Flint Dennison and his son, Earnest "Dee" Dennison, Jr.

Dale is being privately cared for by Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
