Daniel Eugene Archdeacon, age 84, passed away Tuesday July 20, 2010 at Fleming County Hospital. He was born September 16, 1925 in Fleming County to the late James and Margaret Tierney Archdeacon. He was a retired engineer with the C & O Railroad. He was preceded in death by his wife Myrtle Gibson Archdeacon, a son Ernie Archdeacon, brother James Archdeacon Jr., and a sister Mary Catherine Schnell.

Services will be at 1 PM Thursday July 22, 2010 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home. Visitation will be after 11 AM until time of the service Thursday. Internment will follow in Fleming County Cemetery
