Daniel C. "Danny" Hendrix, 50, of May's Lick, passed away suddenly Friday September 19, 2014 at home.

Danny was born January 12, 1964 in Fleming County to the late William M. Hendrix and Glendora Meadows Saunders of May's Lick.

Danny was a lifelong farmer working for several people throughout the area. He loved being outdoors fishing, hunting and just enjoying the land. He loved his dogs and riding horse with his friends and family.

Survivors include his mother; daughter Danielle Hendrix of Flemingsburg; brothers William (Dana Clark) Hendrix of Flemingsburg and John Hendrix of Cynthiana; sisters Susannna McGowan of Mt. Sterling, Barbara Workman of Mt. Olivet and Laura (Tony Logan) Workman of Maysville; aunts and uncles Jane Hendrix, Jerry (Ann) Hendrix, David Meadows and Kay Reed; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, sister Donna Hendrix, and a brother-in-law Avery Workman.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM Tuesday September 23, 2014 at Boone - Nickel Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Fleming County Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
