Daniel Wayne Rucker, 61, of Wallingford, formerly of Stamping Ground passed away Saturday January 24, 2015 at his home.

Daniel was born September 13, 1953 in Wallingford, KY to the late Tivis & Mary Hitch Rucker.

Daniel was a 1971 graduate of Fleming County High School. He was a retired consultant with RWD Technologies, and had been an assistant manager in the power train department at Toyota.

Survivors include his wife Emmaleen Newsom Rucker; children Ken (Nancy) Marshall of Marion, TX, Rick (Joetta) Marshall of Flemingsburg, Lisa (Ricky) Crump of Flemingsburg and Dana (Kevin) Royse of Georgetown; grandchildren Tammy (Robbie) Carpenter, Christa (Wesley) Shoemaker, Kimberly (Terry) Lovett, Miranda (David) Utterback, Derrick Crump, Tyler Royse, Whitney Crump, Natalie Crump and Delaney Royse; great grandchildren Kaylee Carpenter, Sydney Carpenter, Alyvia Carpenter, Dakota Flora, Jeg Flora, Dawson Flora, Lauren Marshall, Cameron Lovett and Mackenzi Utterback; brothers Leonard (Mignon) Rucker, Mac (Bonnie) Rucker and Earl (Carla) Rucker; sisters Margie (Johnny) Arthur, Wanda Rucker, Neva Rucker Nash and Ava (Tim) DeAtley; sister-in-laws Leona Watson and Joyce Newsom; brother-in-law D.A. Watson

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Lois Roberts.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM Tuesday January 27, 2015 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Jesse Hickerson and Bro. Bob Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park in Flemingsburg. Visitation will be 6 - 9 PM Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Hope (909 Kenton Station Dr. Ste B, Maysville, KY 41056) in Mr. Rucker's honor.
