David Weston Dyer, 57, of Ripley, Ohio, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023, at his residence.

Born in Muncie, Ind. on May 25, 1965, he was the son of Hubert W. Dyer and the late Eleanor W. Dyer.

David had worked as an Over-the-Road (OTR) truck driver for 25 years at Aberdeen Express, Hord Trucking in Maysville, Ky., as well as Taylor's in Bethel, Ohio.  He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1564 in Maysville.

In addition to his father Hubert, David is survived by his son, Chris Dyer; his daughter, Alyssa Dyer; the mother of his children, Tina Darlington; and his grandchild, Russell Darlington.  He is also survived by his brother, Darrell (Tammy) Dyer; and his sister, Sharon Minish; along with many extended family members and friends.

David was preceded in death by his mother Eleanor W. Dyer; and his brother-in-law, Mike Minish.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2023, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Mike McGinnis officiating.

David will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park.

Pallbearers include Darrell Dyer, Chris Dyer, Jeff Wheeler, Doug Dyer, Joe Hauke, and Rex Edwards.  Honorary pallbearers include Scott Wykoff.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street, Flemingsburg, Ky. 41041
