David James Hardy, 56, of Plummer's Landing, KY, passed away Monday November 12, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington after an extended illness. Mr. Hardy was born July 16, 1956 in Plummer's Landing, KY to Andrew James and Ruby Preston Hardy. He had worked as a heavy equipment operator at local saw mills and was a truck driver and logger. He was preceded in death by his father.

Daughter: Amber Mae Hardy

Grandchildren: Cassie Ray & Andrew James Hardy, Kaleb Charles & Waylon Gage Justice

Mother: Ruby Preston Hardy

Sisters: Connie Muse, Barbara Lynn (Barry) Cummins, Linda Lou Hardy

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Friday November 16, 2012 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Conley and Rev. Randy Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Muse Family Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 8PM Thursday at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home. All arrangements are under the direction of Boone - Nickell Funeral Home.
