David L. "Frank" Spencer , 53, of Sherburne, KY passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 21, 2013 at his residence.

He was born August 16, 1960 in Mason County to the late Frank Spencer and Garnett Gulley Spencer of Tilton.

Frank was a retired carpet installer for Fizer's Carpet after many years of service. He had also worked for US Shoe before its closing. Frank loved to work in tobacco from start to finish, he was a true farmer and loved everything about working he never wanted to sit still.

Survivors include his children Michelle (David) Day and Cortney Spencer; grandchildren David Jason, Curtis Jackson and Emmalee Madison Day; his mother Garnett; sister Sherri (Steve) Hunt; and special cousins

He is preceded in death by his father Frank Spencer

Funeral services will be at 2 PM Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Darren Fizer officiating. Burial will follow in Elizaville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the hour of service

DW Brown, Charles Ishmael, Steve Spencer, Darren Pollack, Tom Jolly and Steve Hunt will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Gulley and Bobby Rolph.
