Obituary

Debra Ann "Debbie" Jones, 65, of Flemingsburg, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home.


Born in Fleming County on April 25, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Emery Jolly and Wanda Gray Jolly.


Debbie was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.


She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Glen Jones; her two sons, Chris and wife Amy Jones and Lane and wife Lynsay Jones; her two grandsons, Trevor and wife Shyanna Jones and Carson Jones;  her great grandson, Jensen Jones;  and her canine companion, Zoey.  She is also survived by her siblings, Sue and husband Marvin Jones, Melissa Marshall and Linda (Jim Eubanks) Strank; along with a large extended family and many friends.


Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, and  her three brothers, Allen, Terry, and Chad Jolly.


Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Friday, June 11, 2021, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. James Hickerson officiating.

Debbie will be laid to rest in Elizaville Cemetery.


Pallbearers include Trevor Jones, Carson Jones, Todd Hickerson, Brandon English, Derek Jolly, Ricky Moore and Gayle Crossfield. Honorary pallbearers include Jensen Jones, Allen Jones, Travis Jackson, and Jim Eubanks.


Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m, on Thursday at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home.
