Deborah Ann Lee, 63, of Flemingsburg, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 23, 2026, at the Hospice of Hope Center.
Born in Flemingsburg on April 20, 1963, she was the daughter of Ona Joyce Hafer Lee and the late Wilburn Lee.
Debbie treasured spending time with her family who brought immeasurable joy to her life. She shared a particularly special bond with her niece, Tiffany. The two could often be found enjoying a meal together, shopping until their wallets burned, or catching up over a cup of coffee. What may have seemed like ordinary outings to others became cherished memories filled with laughter, conversation, and the kind of love that made their relationship so special.
One of the most meaningful chapters of Debbie’s life was helping raise her three grandchildren, Caden, Graycie, and Noah Arrasmith, following the heartbreaking loss of their father. During those years, Debbie became a constant source of love, comfort, and support. The bond they shared was enormous. All of Debbie’s grandchildren held an extraordinary place in her heart, and the time she spent with them was among the greatest blessings of her life.
Debbie also loved traveling with her friends and going on vacations, embracing opportunities to make memories and experience new adventures. On Saturdays you could often find her at the auction house, where she delighted in the excitement of finding a good deal. Little did she know that among those Saturday outings, she would discover one of life’s most unexpected treasures: a dear friend, Jeff Harris. Their friendship brought her many wonderful moments that she would come to cherish.
Whether surrounded by family, sharing a coffee, exploring somewhere new, or searching for her next great bargain, Debbie found happiness in life’s simple pleasures and, most of all, in the people who made those moments meaningful. She leaves behind a legacy of love, treasured memories, and bonds that will endure long after her passing. Though she will be deeply missed, the laughter she shared, the love she gave, and the memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her mother Joyce, Debbie is survived by one of her sons, Eric Arrasmith and wife Jamie; her eight grandchildren, Halee (Shane) Carmack; Erica (Shane) Pollock, Caden Arrasmith, Evan Arrasmith, Graycie Arrasmith, Noah Arrasmith, Bentley Arrasmith, and Carter Arrasmith; her five great grandchildren, Olive Carmack, Leevi Pollock, and Colton Pollock. She is also survived by her three siblings, Terry Lee, Anthony Lee, and Sonia (Todd) Sumpter; her four nieces, Kim (B.J.) Stokely, Tiffany (Zach) Hilterbrand, Samantha Lee, and Amanda (Caleb) Simmons; and her nephew, Jorden (Caitlyn) Lee.; along with her great nieces and nephews, Myia, Mahala, Layden, and Lily; along with many extended family members and friends.
In addition to her father Wilburn, Debbie was preceded in death by one of her sons, Michael Arrasmith.
The memorial service will begin at 1 p.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at the Flemingsburg First Church of God with Bro. Johnny Fields officiating.
Visitation will be open to the public from 11 a.m., until the hour of service at 1 p.m., Tuesday, at the church located at 710 Elizaville Avenue in Flemingsburg.
