Debbie Gray Price "Granny", age 72, of Ewing, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.

Born in Maysville, Kentucky on July 24, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Howard Gray and the late Eula Frances Florence Gray.

Debbie retired from Licking Valley Head Start.  She was a full-time Granny to many who loved to read, play cards, and play a competitive game of Monopoly.  She had a larger than life personality with a great sense of humor.  She would often be seen driving around Ewing where she was a staple of the community.  She was a member of Ewing Christian Church.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 53 years, Elzie Price; her three children, Sarah Brierley, Jenny (John Jr) Sims, Patrick (Amy) Price; her eight grandchildren, Cody Brierley (Ashlee Stewart), Zachary Brierley  (Candy Griffitt), Sophia Sims, Isabella Sims, Ava Sims, Mallory Donahue, Keaton Donahue, and Summer Harmon; along with many extended family members and friends.

In addition to her mother Frances and her father Howard, Debbie was preceded in death by her three siblings, Barb Clary, Janice Totten, and Mike Gray.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 26, 2025,  at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Ingram and Bro. Steven Osborne officiating.

Debbie will be laid to rest in Elizaville Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Cody Brierley, Zachary Brierley, Keaton Donahue, Jody Gray, Tanner Gray, and John Sims Jr.  Honorary pallbearers include Taylor Mattox, Donald Feeney, Lawrence Helton, Terry Buchanan, and A.T. Worthington.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street in Flemingsburg.
