Deborah Kay "Debbie" Gibson, 64, of Flemingsburg, KY passed away Monday May 19, 2014 at her home.

Debbie was born April 9, 1950 to the late Charles Morris and Evelyn Ogle Morris.

Debbie was a Residential Specialist at the Children's Crisis Stabilization Unit at Comprehend, Inc. She loved nature and everything in it from working in her yard to feeding the birds and watching the animals. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a strong all around genuine woman.

She was preceded in death by her father and 2 uncles Hubert and Gilbert Morris.

Survivors include her husband Gordon Gibson; sons Tim (Kim) Pence and Joe (Shawna) Gibson; daughters Melissa Pence (Jeff) Cutter and Monica (Isaac Gosselin) Gibson; grandchildren Cody and Nathan Cutter, Tiffany and Amber Pence and Violet, Aubrey and Preston Gibson; mother Evelyn Gibson.

Funeral service will be at 10 AM Friday May 23, 2014 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Norman Wasson officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be 6 - 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Fleming County Adult Day Care (203 High St. Flemingsburg, KY 41041).
