Dennis R. Lowe Jr., 79, of Wallingford Road Flemingsburg passed away Monday March 28, 2011 at his residence. He was born April 28, 1931 in Fleming County to the late Dennis R. Lowe Sr. and Alma Davis Lowe Duff. He was a retired construction worker and farmer .

He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Lena May Lowe in February 2008

8 Children: Rick Lowe, Bobbie (Gary) McCord, Connie (Gerald) Crain, Cindy (Johnny) Hardin, D.R. (Debbie) Lowe and Joni (Mike) Hazelrigg all of Fleming County; Peggy (Randy) Hamm of Burlington, KY and Mark (Kim) Lowe, Mt. Sterling, KY.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM Thursday March 31, 2011 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Norman Wasson officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Visitation at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home will be after 5 PM Wednesday. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Cancer Care Club
