Dennis Muse, 79, of Muses Mills, KY passed away January 2, 2014 at his home with his family by his side.

Dennis was born on May 27, 1934 in Fleming County to the late John and Sarah Birchfield Muse.

Dennis was a retired fire fighter after 36 years of service with the Division of Forestry. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Alma Lorene Muse; 2 daughters Glenda May Cord of Muses Mills, KY and Marilyn (John) Niece of Wallingford, KY; 1 step-son William Logan of Muses Mills, KY; 4 grandchildren Randy (Kayla) Cord, Vanessa Logan, John D. Niece and Shonda Niece; 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 4 brothers Lincoln, Willie Allen, Theodore and Asa Muse; 3 sisters Katherine Kennedy, Ollie Muse and Eva Brown.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM Sunday January 5, 2014 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Point Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
