Donald Maurice "Donnie" Botkin, 76, of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at his residence with family by his side. He was the widower of Judy Hall Botkin.

Born September 23, 1941, in Plummers Landing, he was the son of the late Elmer and Nannie Howell Botkin.

Donnie was a retired truck driver who hauled milk for Brewer Trucking.

He is survived by his son, C.J. Dudley; his daughters, Debbie Rice, Becky Bratcher, and Donna Gooding and husband Tony; his grandchildren, LaRon (Brandy) Botkin, Kim Shrout, Tyler Rice, Kasey (Tyrell) Gooding, Jada (Chip) Rice and Bradley (Taylor) Gooding; his great grandchildren, Mikkayla, Marquis, Jaleeah, Alyssia, Mya, Tyron, Aspyn, Hudson, Brayden, Morgan, Destiny, and Camden. He is also survived by his sister, Ruth Ann Honaker.

In addition to his wife and parents, He was preceded in death by his brothers, Doug Botkin, Roger Botkin, and Clarence Botkin.

A celebration of Donnie's life will be 3 p.m., Sunday, January 28th, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Caskey officiating. Burial will follow in Fleming County Cemetery.

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
