Donald Eugene Warder, 78, of Mudlick, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015, at UK Hospital in Lexington.

Mr. Warder was born August 6, 1936, in Fleming County, the son of the late Elza Warder and Virginia Carpenter Warder Hatfield.

Donald was a God-fearing man who loved his family. He was a committed member of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Eldred Farris Warder; children, Randy (Paula) Warder, Cindy (Gary) Sasher, Carla (Rick) Truesdell; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jennifer Warder; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Warder; and a grandson, Shane Warder.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Mitchell and Bro. Layne Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Mineer Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 - 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Rick, Dylan, Daniel, and Jeremy Truesdell, Matthew, Mark, Josh, and Dustin Warder will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Cody and Jenna Warder, and Gary Sasher.
